Question / Help Windows 8.1 + DK2 + iRacing64bit + SweetFX...No go :(

Hi All,

I recently reformatted my PC. I am now unable to record/stream with OBS while I have SweetFX.

I have tried different versions of OBS (not multi platform version since I can't use DK2 with it) with no luck.

A few months ago I experienced the same problem but that was due to Windows Update installing two files that caused the issue. This time these two updates are not installed.

Anyone with the same issue that managed to resolve it?

SweetFX has always been this way. OBS game capture is unable to hook a game running SweetFX due to how SweetFX hooks the game to apply it's, uh, sweet effects.
 
I have never heard of OBS working with SweetFX. You must have been doing something different. Were you using Game Capture before?
 
It was working fine with SweetFX in Game Capture. Footage of my streaming while iRacing. This is before I reinstalled OS.

If that's true, then you would be the first. I wouldn't know how to go about making it work, because I've never seen it work before. You could always try Window capture instead.
