Well maybe i expect too much. Since software of that caliber is usually developed over decades, by a decent sized team and cost a shitload of money. Professional software for professional usage, that stuff is on the same level like photoshop, after effects, vegas etc. Regular streamers dont need 95% of that functionality (who the heck needs a 8-Band EQ when normal people use 3-Band EQ and manage to ruin the sound even with only 3 sliders^^), but for some of us this will not only be a huge playground but also a way to improve productivity, reduce downtimes (fixing stuff on the fly - every streamer knows how boring and frustrating that is) and allow to connect other expensive toys to OBS without going the route of 10 programms, x thousand plugins and huge digital or analog signal chains (both video and audio).
But just imagine to pump something the size and complexity like Sony Vegas into OBS MP and the same goes for the audio part. We would get 512 core CPUs, jetpacks and probably teleporters before this is finished and bugfree.
