For others who read this, it looks like it insists on unmaximizing. I don't have an answer, but that's more specific than, "changing size," and it's not supposed to do that.

i fixed it or found the problem...i never installed obs on this fresh reset of windows i installed stream elements....i couldnt dock my chat and weird things kept happening.. so i went to obs website and installed over the top of whatever stream elements installed and everything fixed
