Question / Help Window captures stopped working entirely

I've been using OBS for a few years and it's been working fine the whole time. A couple weeks ago though, without doing an update, without doing anything with my laptop, window captures stopped working and they always give a black window. It's really weird because it was literally working the day before (i didn't even close my computer in-between) and the next day black windows all around. Everything else works, monitor captures, video captures etc. Its ONLY the window captures.

I tried everything so far: checked my settings, rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled, etc. Nothing fixes it. Please help
 
"edit" nvm, i didn't work but then I changed the settings to intel in both my graphic card settings AND OBS settings and now it works
