Question / Help Window Capture shows windows above selected window

I'm not sure if this counts as a bug report or just a request for help.
I am using OBS on a computer without a monitor which a couple of people and I use as a collective streaming pc with teamviewer.
The problem we find is that when we use the window capture source the windows above it show up on the stream, so we can't put anything above them. It uses Windows 7 and we have tried turning aero on and off and using compatibility mode, to no avail. I seem unable to find other people with this issue and was wondering if anyone has the knowledge to solve the problem.
Thank you very much,
Cirr

You need to enable Aero to capture only the selected window. If your windows aren't glassy/transparent around the borders, then Aero is still off.

If you connect to the PC with teamviewer or something, make sure that does not deactivate aero.
The only way to capture a single window is if Aero works correctly, as Krazy already pointed out.

If possible, connect a monitor to the PC for a test, and try window capturing without doing a teamviewer connection. (Again, make sure the taskbar and window borders are transparent) And make sure the option to capture layered windows is deactivated in the window capture settings.
