Question / Help Window Capture Only Capturing 2/3 of Window

Hey when I try to use a window capture of a video in mpc or vlc it only grabs about 2/3 of the window and cuts off about a 1/3 of the right. I can't seem to figure this out. Using a Lenovo laptop with nvidia graphics. If anyone could shed some light on this or how to fix it that would be great, thanks.

I've tried it with and without compatibility mode.

Do you have custom DPI settings in windows? Does this happen for every window?

Yes, this also happens with monitor capture and a similar thing happens with game capture.

I don't believe so, unless I somehow did that accidentally.


I think it has something to do with the fact I'm using a laptop with intel and NVIDIA, I just have no idea how to fix it.

I'm not sure how to fix this, but have you tried using the Video source plugin to add videos to OBS rather than capturing a video player?

I still have the same problem with window capture, monitor capture and game capture though.
