What exactly should I do? A step-by-step guide might help.
 
Disable acceleration, just like the 20+ other people who have asked about window capturing chrome.

well, and the fact it didn't work.
Yet again I record, still a black screen - Preview is in good condition, however.

If the preview is fine but the video is black, stop relying on windows media player. Its media format support is horrid.
Use VLC to check your recordings.
