When I add a Window capture, and click the Window list, it just shows a list of "unknown".
It doesn't matter which of the "unknown" I choose. It doesn't change window. It's always only show the last started program no matter which of the "unknown" sources i choose. So if OBS is the last program I've started, it show the OBS window. If i start notepad and choose any of the "unknown" then it show the notepad window.

What causes this bug and how to fix it?

In advance, thank you for your help.

In the logs I noticed:
Code:
23:48:31.290: xcompcap: [window-capture: 'Window Capture (Xcomposite)'] update settings:
23:48:31.290: title: unknown
23:48:31.290: class: pamac-manager
23:48:31.290: Bit depth: 32
23:48:31.290: Found proper GLXFBConfig (in 368): yes

Which desktop are you using? (KDE/Gnome/i3/openbox/ect) Have you or can you try another real quick?

I am using XFCE 20.1
I just tried with KDE Plasma 20.1 and it's the same. :(

I just installed GNOME and it works in that Desktop Environment. Now when I change back to XFCE desktop environment it works!!! Wohooo :)
I have no idea why installing GNOME fixed it and why it fixed it in XFCE. But I guess the important part is that it's working now.
But it would still be nice if some smart people could figure out why this was happening.

Without a lot of log files and several hours to examine them, I'd guess that GNOME installed a package that gave a function it needed.

Glad it's working now though.
