Question / Help Will using multiple sources increase network impact?

Due to living in a small town I can only get upload speeds up to 5mbps. This means I am limited to streaming 720p @ 30fps with a bitrate of 2000-2500. With these settings I can stream my Rocket League gameplay without any problems, and without negatively impacting my game performance. However, I also want to use TwitchAlerts and display my Dualshock 4 gamepad on stream so people can see what buttons I'm pressing. What I notice is that whenever I enable the sources for TwitchAlerts and the gamepad, my ping increases in-game and it becomes nearly unplayable. So my question is: can using multiple sources impact the usage of my upload speed? Thanks :)

Adding sources shouldn't be screwing with things, unless you have a killer networks network adapter (which are known for being underpowered and problematic)
