Hi...

So im trying to setup my stream, but for some wierd issues im more or less constantly bufferinging / getting lag on the stream.

My computer specs:

i5 - 4690k 4core, 4 threads - 3.5ghz base clock - OC'ed to 4.6 ghz!
16G GB ram
Asus 970 GTX Strix
Internet: 50/50 Mbit
windows 7, 64bit ultimate
Running OBS in 64bit mode!
Stream resolution: 1.5 (1120 x 700) - downscaled from 1680 x 1050

Computer specs and internet specs should not be the issue.. Looking into obs specs i have the follow:

OBS log including picture from OBS settings and other sites/programs to verify the quality of of the stream.

I dont have any dropped frames, and when watching the VOD... it's all smooth.. but live... lag / buffering happends all the time.. i dont no why.. anyone have a clue.. because.. im pretty muh lost...

hmm.. after looking into this..

It seems like ALL stream are comming from US, from the San Fransico server node. Now if enough people are watching the stream will be replicated to a another region, etc EU to the London server node and so on...

So if you are streaming from etc... Denmark to sweden and a german persons wants to watch a stream.. it doesnt go to the very close sweden nodes and fetches the stream.. in fact the stream will be fetched from the US..

So the streamers might be streaming to a local server very close to them, but that node will then send that stream to US.. and all clients will connect to the US, usally san fransico server.. causing the constant buffering it seems

so viewers with very low viewercounts = fucked.. only way to fix this seems to have viewbot youself to get replicated to EU.. and "kickstart" your stream this way... thats bs from twitch's side...
