config 2 would be the most suiting

but i assume you want a 1 pc setup so streaming + gaming on the same rig

if this is true 1080p60 is possible but its not really what you want if you want a 60fps stream with fps games like csgo bf and whatnot then you would want to use 720p60

for league or dota 1080p60 should work yet flash player is really bad

also the bitrate needed for a decent 1080p60 stream is by far over 5k since you cant really just crank the presets down to medium which would probably still need a bitrate of 3500-4000 to look somewhat decent

if this is a 2 pc setup and you are looking for a dedicated streaming machine then the config 2 is still the better choice because the i7 5820k is a beast when it comes to encoding but you want to actually use the quadchannel support since you are only using a single ram right now

the gpu is probably also quite overkill for a dedicated streaming machine and dont forget the capture card ;)

this is a PC for playing/streaming at the same time, like i'm already doing but my laptop isnt good enough (the cpu isnt fine)

so i should take the 2nd ? and why should i take a capture card if i only stream games like CSGO LoL and WoW ? (i never used this but if you tell me that it's good, why not)

edit : this is 4x4go RAM not only 1

thats what i said i was assuming that you would use that machine dedicated for streaming and not streaming+gaming

and since your two builds are completly different even especially with the gpu's i wasnt reall sure

also on the picture it sad 1 x 4 Go whatever go means in this case

i mean thats the picture you posted for the "config 2" setup

and capture cards are probably completly useless in a single pc setup except if you are really lazy and dont want to bother about doing anything other then just using one capture source

look at the quantity theres 4 times 1x4go :p

so, finally wich should i go for ?

better picking a 6cores for the price difference ? or getting a 4cores

(in all case i'll go for 16gb RAM)

gaming performance they are both the same when it comes to video encoding specially streaming the 5820k 6core + ht is going to reck the 4790k

also dont buy 4 times the same ram buy a kid instead this gurantees compatibility since every ram is just a µ different

the next question would be which is more futureproof well since the 5820k is already running ddr4 you got your answer yet noone knows if ddr4 is going to be mainstream anytime soon

but if i would spend money on a system right now i would go for the 5820k build with ddr4 ram yes its costs more but i got some guarantee that its going to last a few years more than the 4790k build

listen 2011socket boards support quadchannel this mean if you want the most out of your system you go with 4x whateverGB

something like that

2133mhz cl15 should be around the same as 2400 cl16 when it comes to memory benchmarking

If you plan to stream to Twitch at 1080p60 you're wasting your time and money. High motion games look poor within Twitch's bitrate limitations and Flash doesn't handle 1080p60 well at all. Your viewers will basically be getting worse image quality and less smooth playback compared to a 1080p30 stream.
