Question / Help Why won't my computer recognize my Avermedia Live Gamer Portable?

I've downloaded RECentral but when I connect it to my computer via usb cable it says "no device detected". My Avermedia LGP just flashes a blue light that turns clockwise but it's not doing anything.

I also wanted to ask, how do I get my PS3 to display onto my TV screen when the HDMI cable is connected through my Avermedia LGP? I've followed the directions on this video (

) but I just see a blue screen on my TV. Thank you for your time.

Please contact AVerMedia for assistance getting your Live Gamer Portable up and running first with the latest drivers and software. Once the LGP works with RECentral, you can use it with the 32-bit version of OBS via their Stream Engine program.

i have the same problem and i dont know what to do, have you manged to fix it as i have had no luck
