Question / Help Why some games cast over others?

When casting from OBS; why do some game broadcast fine with video and audio where as others don't have audio and/or video?

It feels like you're asking sort of rhetorically, as though this is a commonplace thing (it isn't).

If possible, post a log fie from a bad session, what you were doing that session and what went wrong with that session specifically. You should always do these things when coming on to the forum asking for help.

I just thought of it! Could it be that the caster is streaming at a resolution that the is game not at?

You can't use Game Capture with Risk of Rain, it is a DirectX 8 game, Game Capture does not support DirectX 8.
For best results with Risk of Rain, use window capture with Aero on.
