Question / Help Which resolution ingame ?

Hello,

I'm new to the streaming community, and I want to stream League of Legends on Twitch.
On my stream I want to display a 720p stream, but since I'm on a laptop, with dual screen, I can't play in very high settings.

To keep high FPS on my screen (60 - 80), I found the following thing :
-> Change the League Of Legends resolution from 1920x1080 to 1600x900.

The ratio is the same (16:9), but I want to know if the stream quality on twitch will be the same for viewers ?

If you're streaming at 720p, that resolution is still lower than what you're playing at, so it shouldn't look any different for viewers. If anything, the stream output should technically look better since it's doing less downscaling.

Ok, so play in 1280x720 or 1920x1080 and the output a stream at 720p will give same quality, win performance on the computer (because lower resolution ingame, and no downscaling).

I have a little problem and don't find the solution on Google. My desktop is 1920x1080, I record with OBS at 1600x900, the game is 1600x900 full screen mode. But when I record, I don't have all the screen on the record, right and bottom are cut.
In video settings its "custom" : 1600 x 900 and no downscale.

When I set resolution to OBS 1280x720 and on the game 1280x720, it cut more the record. :/ It's looks like my game is in 1920x1080 and my record is in 1280x720...

Ok found the problem, needed to resize by "edit scene". :)
