Hi can anyone tell if AMD FX-8300 (or 8320) is good enough for streaming? Or which one should I buy, someone said that 8300 if OC can do same work as 8320. Is that true?

Rest of my HW:

Case: Corsair Carbide Serie SPEC-01
MB:GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3P - AMD 970
GPU: AMD Sapphire R9 270X
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
PS: EVGA 600B Bronze Power Supply 600W

Thanks for any answer.

Because of your good GPU, you can just stream with your GPU, I think that's better than With the CPU ;) But This is my opinion ;D
hardware encoding is pretty bad, yes it works and yes its a really nice thing on low end hardware but x264 encoding is where its at.

if you really plan on streaming there are various posts with hardware recommendations on this forum.

fx8300 and 8320 shouldnt really have that much price difference compared to the 8350 (all 3 cpus are the same just clocked differently, way to make money for the last 4+years)

depending on the game every fx8xxx will pretty much be limited to 720p60 max without changing presets especially if you try to stream picky games like csgo.
