Question / Help Which computer would be better to stream on?

I have two different computers. One is a PC that works decent. Another my iMac desktop. For some reason though my desktop streams lower quality than my PC. Can you help me identify why?

Specs:
Laptop PC:
Processor: i5 2.5 GHz
Ram: 8 GB
Graphics Card: Intel HD 4000


Desktop iMac:
Processor: i3 3.06 GHz
Ram: 8 GB
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4670 256 MB

they are both of lower spec, mac is only an i3 which def cant handle streaming without quicksync.. I woulnd't start two different threads on basically the same set of questions. meaning, if you are needing help streaming. recommended is a fast or oc'd i5 or an i7.
