Question / Help when i try to record OBS doesn't and only records half of the video i make

so i get it all set up go into the game and i play when i'm done i go out of the game and press stop recording i then go to were the video is and open it the problem is it only records half of the video i make or less and it doesn't show any game play just were i started to record like its a picture PLEASE HELP
