Hi OBS forum.
I have 2 questions:
1. I have a Core i7 950@3,1GHz CPU and a GTX770 Nvidia card. Ofcause im getting better results using x264 over nvenc. But my CPU is a first gen core i7 and im not sure how to setup OBS for best quality. When theres alot of movement on my screen everything gets blurry. Im sure it can be better then it is now. I cant check my OBS settings where i am now but I think they are as follows:
2000 bit rate
downscaled to 720p (lanczos)
Preset: Very fast.

Can I do better with the hardware I have?
2. Im really into streaming. I want to build my next rig to be a streaming monster with very good peformance while streaming and gaming at the same time. I have 2x Xeon X5655 onhand right now but im not sure how the would perform against 1x highend gen 3 or 4 core i7 (ivy brigde or Haswell). Should I buy a mobo for my dual xeons that are 3-4 years old or will I begetting better results with a new hignend core i7?
