I have a quick question.
I was wondering at what resolution I could stream with this setup:
Processor: AMD FD8350FRHKBOX FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition
Graphics card: EVGA GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0 4 GB GDDR5
Motherboard: ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD
2 SSDs: Samsung 850 EVO 1TB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E1T0B/AM)
HDD: HGST Deskstar NAS 3.5-Inch 4TB 7200RPM SATA III 64MB Cache Internal Hard Drive Kit (0S03664)
Power supply: Corsair RM Series 1000 Watt ATX/EPS 80PLUS Gold-Certified Power Supply - CP-9020062-NA RM1000
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 32GB Kit (8GBx4) DDR3 1600 MT/s (PC3-12800) CL9 @1.5V UDIMM 240-Pin Memory BLS4KIT8G3D1609DS1S00 (I get a TON of RAM because I do a million things at once and I never want it to slow down. Just getting 32 so I never have to worry about it)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 - Mid Tower Computer Case with High Airflow
I don't really care to game in 4K (1080p would be just fine) but I want to go ahead and get something that will last me for many, many years.
I suppose that I would like to have the capabilities to achieve a 1440p resolution, but because I want to get into streaming, 720p would be just fine (until 1080p becomes the norm).
But what resolution could I max out at with this set up? And does everything seem compatible? I'm willing to pay in order for my games to run smoothly, look great, and stream at a nice resolution.
Also, I'd like to record while I'm streaming and have enough room to hold some videos as well as being able to edit them quickly after I'm done streaming (I just use a couple of free video editors; WMM is usually what takes the longest when it comes to compressing the file).
