I've been using frame interpolation software to "enhance" movies that I watch on my desktop. I know some people don't like this effect, but regardless, I do. I would like to stream the enhanced video to my laptop so that I can watch it on my TV. The laptop is not strong enough to do the frame interpolation on its own.
So I figure it would be possible to do a high bitrate stream to the laptop, and play that on the TV. How would I go about doing this?
I've already tried VideoLAN's built in stream function. It was extremely low quality for whatever reason. Then I thought perhaps I could stream using OBS. Twitch wouldn't work well enough because my upload speed is too low. I looked at this post viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2427 but it sounds fairly buggy. I was hoping for something that would work as solidly as twitch.
If anyone has any ideas they would be appreciated. Thanks.
