Question / Help What does "Mic boost multiplier" do?

Hi guys,

I use a mixer, and I use it as my mic in OBS. Now I noticed im very quiet in my streams. I turned the volume all the way up, and im still quiet. Im wondering if mic boost will help, however, im also wondering if it degrades audio quality(sort of like when turing a mic too high, its cuts or sounds weird)

Would it be safe to set set mic boost to 10?

Multiplies the audio level by whatever value you set. 2 would boost it 2x, 3 is 3x, and so forth.
