First of all I have no idea when it comes to setup and settings. I am not using a capture card due to the fact that I have only just started streaming and don't have the money to purchase something that expensive.

Okay so my laptop isn't the best I did buy it 5 years ago and for college use but here goes, specs are:

HP Pavilion g6 series
OS - Windows 10
Processor - AMD E-350 processor, 1600 MHz, 2 Core(s), 2 logical processors
RAM: 4GB
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6310

I have 2 monitors, 1 being the laptop monitor.

So far the stream runs smoothly but as soon as I open the Xbox app in Windows 10 it crashes.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated, if not and my laptop is simply a lost cause then I'm sorry you wasted your time reading this.

Thanks, need anymore information just ask!

AMD E-350? This CPU is really slow, this may limit to 640x360 at 15 fps or lower for minimal frame skips if without any hardware encoders.

Xbox app crashes? or OBS crashes?

Maybe show us OBS logs, and if OBS crashes, also show us crash logs.

If looking for a new computer, desktop tower computers are cheaper and faster then laptops, stay away from all-in-one as most of them don't have the ability to add PCI-E expansion slots such as PCI-E HDMI capture cards.
