Either mp3 or AAC, but the recommended codec to use is AAC because that's the supported audio codec for mp4 video's

thanks for your info
of course i know its mp3 and aac, but i am asking where can i find the encoder files?

i tried to download Lame mp3 acm codec 3.99.5 and there's no 96bitrate option...so i am wondering if OBS's encoder is different from the one i downloaded and want to use OBS's directly.

is here the right place to look for my info?

ah ok gotcha, I believe OBS uses ffmpeg to do all video and audio encoding. So I believe it's dynamically built into the main libx264-142.dll but I could be wrong here.
