Question / Help What are my optimal settings

Hi there, I am a streamer using obs on a designated streaming pc.
The specs are

I5 3570k @ 4.2ghz
8gb ddr3 1600mhz corsair vengeance ram
asrock z75 pro3 motherboard
evga nvidia gtx 670 sc
corsair gold standard 80+ 700w psu

I am just wondering what my optimal settings would be to stream on twitch tv 720p@60fps

I currently am using 3000k upload as I don't have quality options a lot of the time and find that 3500 causes buffer for a large number of people.

My obs settings are as follows

x264 ticked
enable cbr
no custom buffer
3000kbs ul
audio bitrate 64
aac codec
format 48khz
stereo

1280x720 resolution with no downscale
lanczos
60fps

use multithreaded optimization
Processor priority normal

x264 faster (I have tried fast but get high encoding warnings)
encoding profile main
keyfram interval 2

Is there anything I am missing here? it just seems I should be able to maybe push a slower preset to increase the quality but as stated it causes issues with high encoding.

I thought as the pc was a designated streaming rig and the entire processing power is being used for obs I may possibly be able to squeeze out some more quality.
Any help is greatly appreciated

I would increase the audio bitrate to 128 or 160. Its a huge diffetent in the stream sound. Yes you shouldnt go higher than 3000kbit/s upload. If you are not partnered. You mean that you use a streaming pc and a gaming pc. Thats normal that you cant use higher cpu preset. Because the capturecard needs much more cpu usage as normaly to capture a game or captute the screen just. But your cpu isnt really the best cpu for streaming. i7 is much better to handle the big encoding.

So if I were to upgrade to say a I7 3770k would I notice a massive difference? I was considering switching to something like an amd fx 8 core rig for streaming, but I can't get a clear answer online as to whether that would be better than say an i7 rig. What about using my nvidia card for some of the encoding? I have a gtx 670 superclocked in there that is doing nothing, would it help to use the nvidia encoder to see if that makes a difference?
