maybe you can help me out here, as I couldn't explain this myself. I was checking out Motioncreds (Dailymotions streaming service) as a Twitch alternative (since I sometimes get 90% framedrop to Twitch EU Servers) but came across a weird delay (had none set in OBS nor in Motioncreds settings).
I was streaming for around 5 hours to Motioncreds and initially thought everything was running fine (only ~800 dropped frames in the entire time) when checking the stream online. However a viewer pointed out that everything was happening with a massive delay and when I checked it was fine (in my tab of the stream that had been open the entire time). I then refreshed my tab and it turned out she was right, the stream was delayed by about 15 minutes even though I set no delay. When I proceeded to close OBS, thinking that the remainder of the cast would just be broadcasted with the delay, the stream stopped shortly after stopping the stream.
Does anyone have any idea what's happening here? I desperately need an alternative to Twitch and Motioncreds was looking so promosing, however if this was an issue on their end I won't be able to stream with them.
