Question / Help Webcam won't work on OBS

My webcam is either isn't showing up or it has a red screen whenever I try it out on OBS. It works on other programs like skype but not this program for some reason. Any help would be appreciated.

post your logfile from the help menu next time, but you cannot use a webcam in more than one window at a time. so if skype or another program is using the webcam, OBS wont be able to "hook" it.

For what I know I'm pretty sure no other program is using the webcam when I am on OBS.

Can you try this webcam on another PC? from what I can see, that error is basically that the webcam is being used by another app. try unplugging it and putting it in a different port to start if you dont have another PC. also you might want to make your webcam a global source as well.
