Hey guys,
here is my problem. I recently bought a new Microsoft Lifecam HD-3000 and tried to connect it to OBS. The only thing OBS is showing me, is an empty window where the camera image should be. Nonetheless OBS shows my cam as connected and even shows its special settings in configuration. I've tried to switch USB ports, reinstalling the drivers, restarting the PC, switching 32 and 64 Bit OBS, switching resolutions; but nothing works. The camera only works via Windows 8.1 Camera App so it's not an technical issue.
Here are some specs of my system:
Windows 8.1 64 Bit
i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40 GHZ
16GB RAM
Geforce GTX 770
