I'm using an Elgato capture card to capture console video so I have a delay I need set. The audio works fine (use buffering) and holds the entire time but my webcam when I set it to use buffering will almost always jump back to live after a few seconds. After refreshing it about 20-30 times it finally sticks, usually. Is there a problem with webcam buffering? I will set it to have a 1500-2400 ms delay but it doesn't always stick and forces me to refresh the webcam to sync of the delays.

What webcam? There's a known issue particularly with integrated cameras right now.

C920 should work great. It's the one I used when making the program. May I see a log file?

Here's the section about the Webcam...I'm doing a preview right now and it seems to be holding, but when the Elgato is running and I'm live streaming it seems to want to jump back to live...but right now as far as I can tell the webcam (while previewing) is holding at about a 3 second delay...I'll test again next time I stream using the capture card and see if the delay holds.

I just registered to say that I am having the same problem and was looking through the forums for a fix to no avail. I don't know what settings you need from me but ill describe my situation to you.

I am using an Elgato capture card, a Logitech C270 webcam (this one works fine), my integrated cam on my laptop (Lenovo y510p, im looking up the real cam specs). I don't have any syncing issues at all except for the integrated camera gradually going live instead of listening to the buffer. This is pretty big for me since I can't afford a 2nd external camera right now. Let me know any way I can help.

May I see the full log file? Yea, the integrated cams are the ones that have this issue. It's totally bewildering.

Well I was technically speaking to madlarkin6 there because he only give me a small portion of the log, but thank you for giving me your log as well. As I said, the integrated cams currently do have this issue, and I haven't been able to determine the case yet.

Is there a fix to this?

I use the integrated iSight-camera on my iMac, BUT I have Windows installed on it so I'm using OBS in Windows 7 with Elgato Game Capture HD.

The delay worked when I used OBS multiplatform for Mac, but then the video was so choppy I went back to Windows.
