Question / Help Webcam not working?

Hi, so when I select video capture device it picks up what my webcam is, but when I select it it just shows a grey screen even though the webcam light come on.

When I use the xsplit that came with my laptop the camera seems to work fine, and if I open OBS while running xsplit it hijacks the camera from xsplit even though it's not displaying anything.

Is this a common problem wiht a simple fix? I couldn't find anything in search.

When you add same sources through the scenes use cloning (Add Existing) option.
