Good Evening I just purchased a Logitech C615 Webcam and am finding a very peculiar problem with it, I have added it as a Video Capture device and am using default settings, Also I have tested it in video calls and the proiblem does not show up there. the problem itself is a very odd flicker where the image will turn off an on and show multiples of itself the video can be seen here with the problem.

as seen here: http://youtu.be/BuvAZuJJxTI

That is amazingly weird. I've only ever seen that happen once before. Just as a test, could you try turning on "Use buffering" in the webcam source properties and see if that changes anything?

No dice. I attempted a couple different times with no avail.

I'd probably have to have direct access to the computer at that point to know specifically what's going on. I actually am not sure at all, if "Use buffering" didn't do anything then at this point then I'm totally baffled. It just reads in data that the webcam gives to it, so it's not modifying the webcam image.

Well actually, I do have one theory now that I think of it. It could be something up with the graphics card; you see, unlike those other programs, OBS has to composite the webcam image onto the scene, so that means it has to upload the webcam video prior. That could be a reason it's occurring, and about the best theory I've got at the moment.

Not entirely sure otherwise though. As I said, I've only seen something similar happen to one person before, and many people have that same webcam so I'm hesitant to blame the webcam.

Ah I see, I messed around with resolutions and it appears the only Webcam settings resolution that works appears to be 800x448 which is a bit odd but resolves the issue. thank you for your time.
