When I record minecraft with an overlay or two after a few minutes the webcam freezes and i need to stop recording and then go back again to fix it. Why does this happen?

How long does it take until it freezes?
It may be a driver issue (hopefully not), and if so it should always happen no matter the software, except if the software uses some kind of hack to prevent the bug.
