i know probably 3 people "famous streamers" which stream with an medium preset 2 of them got an i7 3930k so 6 core with ht and the 3rd one got dual xeon setup with 8 cores+ ht each so 32 threads best and as far as i know those who stream with the 3930k run 48 fps and the xeon setup is running 25 fps ... for whatever reason guess they set it up once and were like yeah thats working lets keep it fuck optimizing

A 3770K can't handle 1280x800 at 60 FPS on the medium preset even in a 2 PC setup. You shouldn't need to go all the way back to veryfast though; the fast preset should be okay for most things.

I know youre a Mod , but THATS A JOKE if you say a 3770k Cant handle 1280x800 smh .
Sorry but my 3770k can Run bf4 on Ultra and stream at the same time with Nvidia.

He clearly mentioned on the "medium" preset, which will easily eat a CPU depending on the content you want to encode with it. You also say stream with nvidia, so you are not even using the cpu to encode?
I would recommend to give it a quick try on x264 with the medium preset playing BF4. A simple test with a video file on an i7 4770 showed "high cpu usage, taking too long to encode" right away. And you might guess, a video will use less CPU than BF4 on Ultra...
