Recently bought a AVerMedia LGP Lite to stream from my Gaming PC to a laptop to stream. I haven't successfully streamed yet because I either get a red screen or a black screen.
Looking at the log I get

Warning -- DShowPlugin: Could not get device video pin

Using a AVerMedia LGP LITE as my input, up to date firmware, and updated stream engine, I get this when I preview stream. (using 32 bit program) OBS from Program Files (x86)

I merged your duplicate thread, please reply to this one.

- Does the LGP Lite work in AVerMedia's own software?
- What resolution is your gaming PC sending to the LGP Lite?

Also, is your gaming PC really that bad? Your laptop is completely terrible for video encoding, I wonder if what you're trying to set up is even worth it.

The LGP LITE doesn't work with its RECentral software. But trying to contact them appears to be a haste.
Streaming and gaming from the same pc has a big impact on my in game connection, hence using a oldish laptop.

My display is set to 1|2 Multiple monitors duplicated at 1360 x 768
The video settings according to Stream engine says 1280 x 720

If possible you should configure Stream Engine to match the input resolution of 1360x768. However if it's not working in RECentral then this probably isn't an OBS issue, and you should wait and see what AVerMedia support has to say.

Update - Problem solved (my HDMI cable was plugged into the wrong device) ;)

Thanks Sapiens for the help though. (Recording and Streaming is fine too)
