I just noticed on a past video that OBS is now picking up all audio and not just what is in the game I was streaming at the time. Is there a way to make sure it only records and streams only the game audio and no other audio sources running at the same time?
No. The Windows audio subsystem doesn't work like that. It mushes everything going out over a single audio device together into a single signal.
You can sometimes sort-of work around it with VAC or VB-Audio, but that only works for programs/processes that let you assign the audio device they should be using (very few games do this).
