Question / Help W10 | OBS | High FPS in game but remains low and fluctuates in obs. (Usually fixed by using Vsync)

No my issue is with almost every single game other than CSGO. There's very few that don't give me the issues. My lesser pc on windows 7 did not have the issues my current one does and I have the same GPU.

I just noticed that my OBS drops to 20 FPS in Desktop capture. I even checked compatibility mode and disable Aero.

OK I have a 980ti now and its giving me the same issue now WITH the frame rate capped. This doesn't make any sense what so ever.

I dont think your issue was ever your GPU. post a new logfile for 5 minutes of gaming. also no need to use vsync unless you just like it. Its better to have more frames to capture then exactly the amount.

https://gist.github.com/803ff511905ef5ed0d9fe484c14e5d75 This is after streaming for a short while. I limited the frame rate and it helped, but sometimes it doesnt help? idk It's a confusing issue. I appreciate the help though.

I just noticed this morning that it seems like my entire second monitor appears to have a low frame rate if OBS does. Just looking at GIF emotes from twitch chat were very laggy but once I was able to fix the frame loss the emotes regained smoothness as well. Sorry if I didn't explain that well.

remove anticheat hook from all your game captures.

Sorry, I must have grabbed the wrong log file. I am seeing the OBS FPS counter drop http://i.imgur.com/yjsxm0Y.png. I am not watching my stream via twitch but I do have the preview option enabled so I can see what's going on. I've tried disabling it before but there didn't seem to be any change. It also happens when I desktop capture, and being windows 10 I can't disable aero.
