I have been using different DAWs for years (ableton, cubase, Protools..) and I feel like a "generic" vst plugin (or maybe a library to build specific plugins) to handle OBS websocket would be a great idea.
Typically, I'm using Cubase to drive a multi-track playback on live concerts. I plan to add "synchronized" visual features: LED banks using DMX, and also some video stuff.
I think that OBS is a great candidate for this:
- You preprare different scenes/views in OBS
- Using a MIDI track on DAW, you trigger the scene/view according to playback position
VST plugins are generally C++, and JUCE provides templates for VST development.
I'm looking for developpers who could be interested in that project . Please do not hesitate to give feedback, as I am new to OBS (Maybe it already exists, but I did not find it)
