I have latest OBS 31.1.2 and latest OSX (though this has been a problem with other OSX and OBS versions). This has been an issue for a couple years, but more noticeable lately.
when I enable virtual camera, sometimes It works fine for hours/days, other times it will only stay enabled for a couple minutes.
I use OBS studio to mostly do overlays for Webex or Zoom meetings, so this makes OBS not-useful for my use..
I have a Insta360 camera (4k) (though I think it has also been issues with Elgato camera 4k). It doesn't seem to matter what resolution I set. Or if I have "preview" enabled in the Insta controller or in OBS. Any ideas of other things to check?
