Virtual Cam Flicker - with Zoom

it only happens when I'm using OBS but my "Virtual Cam" that's feeding my OBS output into Zoom is flickering. It stops flickering when I click on OBS (change the focus to it). When I start browsing the web or doing other things, I get the flicker again and it's very annoying. Both, my Zoom and OBS is updated as of today. Does anyone know why or what would be causing it? I'm using the Windows 10 OS.

Let me know what suggestions.
 
I have the same issue, both with Zoom and Webex (so it is not specific to the collaboration tool used). It also happens to both my machines (Windows 10), but it did not happen as late as a couple of weeks ago. Sorry to not be of more help.
 
Resolved. I went into Tools>VirtualCam, stopped the camera, changed the Buffered Frames from 3 to 10, then started it again. The flickering disappeared immediately.

That seemed to have done for me as well but now my audio in zoom is badly not in sync with movement. Trying to do fitness class so as much in sync I can get it the better. Thanks for the help.
 
I'm on Mac, and there are no settings for Virtual Camera. The fix for me was to uncheck "Disable macOS V-Sync" under Settings->Advanced->Video.
 
On MacOS I couldn't find any resolution, but this flickering happens even on sharing a simple JPG. So it doesn't seem to be dependent on the camera. I'm using a Macbook Air. On windows everything is sharp and fine.
 
Would love to know the reason or a fix for mac too :) It does NOT flicker in the preview only in the Virtual Camera when e.g using Jitsi etc.

@dvaksvik we have a similiar problem but already OBS 28.x.x. We're not sure where this setting is hidden exactly. Is it in Video incl. advanced settings?
We're also not sure if it's quite the same. Also running Atem Mini, Companion with Streamdeck plus Atem Mini Scripts.
