Question / Help Videos recorded with 60fps stuck at the beginning

Hello there,

my english is not the best, sorry for that, but i will give my best!

I have a problem recording gameplay footage @60fps. I have tried different Bitrates but i always receive the same problem:

OBS records the first one or two frames and then video gets stuck at this image, the sound continues playing like there is no problem. Its no problem with my Videoplayer, even if i upload my video to youtube it shows the same problem.

I am encoding with Nvidia NVENC (my CPU is too weak for x264) @1080p and I am using Windows 8.1 64bit. I have no problem recording with 30 FPS but i really want 60 FPS!

I have tried to solve this issue with installing K-Lite Codec pack and QuickTime 7. But it still does not work.

Do u have any tipps i could use to solve my problem?

the first links tells me that i should not use 1080p60fps but, i have to use 60fps for recording. also it is saying something about x264, but i am not using x264 at all.

Do u have any suggestions?

Thank you for that but the recorded video stutters a lot, even with quality 8 and crf 25, which is a huge loss of quality. my cpu is not fast enough for x264 :/
