Hello everyone, I knew to this software. What I'm trying to do is recording a specific webpage all day long, without it creating a HUGE file. I know how to record a specific window, but I tried recording for like 10 seconds and it took up 5mb, which after 24 hours will be a massive file. How do I lower it enough so that it will be a much much smaller? I don't need any kind of good resolution, as long as I can read the type thats on it.

Thank you so much for your help!

OBS doesn't seem like the best solution, but file size depends on the bitrate in the Encoding settings. The lower the bitrate the lower the quality but the file size is also lower.

Actually, not sure if there is a better solution either :D
I would probably do the following: If you just need a part of the webpage, adjust your video resolution and lower it accordingly. You can also probably lower the framerate, 5 should be a good value to make sure your video player will be able to play the video. Then you can use our high quality recording guide but use a lower quality value, you will have to test a bit and see which settings look good enough to read everything. And if you can afford higher CPU usage you could even increase the encoding preset to further lower the needed bitrate.
