Question / Help Video shows in preview

Streaming works perfectly with video / sound. Recording Sound works perfectly but the recording lacks video.

When I do File Output Only, I dont understand why the video is not being recorded. I use to do this with xsplit with no issues.

Hm, interesting computer. That's a desktop computer, correct? It says you're using window capture. What are you capturing, specifically?

Thanks sorry for posting it in the wrong area. Yes i have a very beefed up work station running with a nvidia quadro 4000. I was just trying to capture from chrome browser. Normally i would like to record some game play though from marvel heroes. I tried capturing different regions such as the game or a windows capture. I couldnt seem to get video to record for either of these.

I just wanted to do a small youtube video with some voice over. Nothing major. Is there something im missing?

Windows media player doesn't play high resolution h264 without the support of external filters try opening the file with other media players such as VLC or MPC-HC.

Chrome browser doesn't always capture properly, I take it you're trying to capture something that's flash? Sometimes you have to have aero disabled to do that (or compatibility mode enabled in window capture? Can't remember which worked).
