Question / Help Video Recordings very choppy.

Hey guys!

I'm new here and I'm having some lagging issues with the game recording while using OBS. I just got a custom computer built with an i-7 4790k and a gtx 960. If you need any other specs I can provide.

Only the gameplay is laggy in the recording, not the voices. Thanks in advance!

Your log says it is running OBS on the Microsoft Basic Render Driver, and not the GTX 960. In fact, OBS doesn't even see that you have a 960 installed. Are you running the program in any particularly unusual way?

I don't think I'm running it in an unusual way. I just opened it and added an elgato source and started recording. How do I make it run on the GTX?
 
You didn't set it to run in any sort of Compatibility mode? You aren't running it in a VM or anything?

Are your drivers up to date? Have you tried rebooting?

If you only have one GPU in the computer, OBS should run on that by default.

I'm pretty sure it's all on default settings. Like i said I just opened it and let it run. All of my drivers are up to date and I reboot regularly so honestly I don't know :/
