I imagine this is something asked and answered a hundred times already, in which case I'll happily accept a link to a page that can set me right. For just over a month now I've been using OBS to record game footage, and Audacity for mic recording, and had no problems. I've recently added a webcam to this (using a second OBS window), and the first two recordings went fine. Then last night, using the same setup apart from a repositioned webcam and disabled audio capture on the camera, I found the webcam footage had desynched with the other two (game/mic). Over the course of about 40 minutes, it ran longer than the game and mic capture.
I understand this is probably due to a variable bitrate, but I'm learning all this as I go so would like to ask anyone with a bit more experience if they could point me in the right direction to stop this from happening again? Thanks in advance!
