Hi everyone!
I'm wondering if OBS has a plugin for local video files that is as robust as xsplit's? If you need me to go into more detail on features of the xsplit video plugin lemme know :) But mainly I'm looking to be able to play local video files with audio, and have them reset every time I select the scene. I use it currently for my opening intro and for raid responses.
This is literally the only feature that keeps me using XSplit over OBS for streaming lol. I still use OBS for my local youtube recordings.
There is a video plugin that shows up on google search for OBS, but it isn't anywhere near as built out as the xsplit one. Are there any plans to integrate native function for playing local video files into multiplatform?
This is that video plugin that I found: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/video-source-plugin.20/
Reason for the question is that I'm pretty sure there is currently a bug in xsplit that is messing with my max keyframe intervals, which is causing my streams to lag without any good reason. Never had that problem with OBS
