Question / Help Video is lagging while recording youtube..

Hey there,

i don't know if my mac is to old for dis.. but when I record a video, the video on safari works fine, but on the preview or after it it's recorded is lagging the s*** out..
Using my 2009er 27" iMac, with yeh i know.. 256mb video memory..

maybe somebody out there who could help me out?

Try a lower base resolution. Your GPU cannot keep up.

Settings > Video > Base (Canvas) Resolution

Instead of using 1080p or the native resolution of your display, set OBS to use as the base resolution the resolution you intend to stream or record at. So instead of scaling down to 720p, just start with that as your base resolution and see if that helps.
