When I record, the video works for about 5 or 10 seconds, however the audio still works perfectly. Can anyone help?

Your system is completely unsuited for streaming or recording at 1080p60. Record at 30 FPS instead, follow the instructions at https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16/ and downscale until performance is acceptable. If you're recording a game, ensure that vsync or some other form of FPS limiter is enabled.
