Question / Help Video freezing midway through recording, audio fine

Hi, A couple of months ago I got OBS, and tryed to use it to record. My computer wasn't good enough, but i have since upgraded. By it wasn't good enough, I mean that i didnt get 30 FPS. Everything else was fine. Now my problem is whenever i record a game such as Rocket League, It freezes a few seconds after i start. Example: http://youtu.be/OA3tlG_E7Ls

I have this exact same issue while streaming. It seems like no one has an answer for it. I've seen alot of posts lately about the same thing.

there could be a lot of issues here. for one if you upload your log file there is someone that looks at that and can give a better answer as they can see your settings and what its doing. Just saying help me and its doing this will not get you alot of help i would guess.
You could have a setting incorrect, you could have the bit rate to high there are other advanced settings you may need to speed up or slow down counting on your system. It could be that your buffer is so big that it helps you record fine for a period of time and then the buffer cannot keep up and you get skips or loss frames. Just dont say lag as I was told it is used way to freely when it is not the real issue.
if you goto youtube and read some of the solutions that others have found you might be able to resolve your problem before just posting on here to have some one do it for your. Sorry if that sounds rude but you will learn so much more if you do the work first and then ask and show you logs when you have problems.
