Question / Help Video for a second then just audio

i tried this out for the first time, did a recording converted it to MP4 and when i try to play it back i have video for 1 second and then nothing but sound. I am wondering if this video is junk now or is there a way to get it to work properly?


should probably add i did a very short vid as a test worked fine, this one is much longer

did your original video have video all the way through? if you converted it, the original copy should still be there. converting usually makes a new video.

just downloaded a program that will play the original and it does the same thing on that too

EDIT: Ok it look like with OBS your CPU usage is through the roof on that recording so yes, the recording is gone. This is due to your weak CPU. Luckily your CPU has quicksync so use that instead of x264 in the encoder tab.
