I want to buy one but heared of several Problems some Programs have with OBS files, my old Vegas Pro 8.0 could not handle them at all even after Downloading several codecs.

The main Problem I discovered are either no Video and only Audio or Audio desync on the Video.

I remux my Videos to MP4v2 with Avidemux and do basic cutting with it aswell most of the time.
But I want to step it up a notch.

I am thinking of getting Adobe Elements 2013 but my Test Version Expired and I couldn't really test it out because I installed it to early and had no time to test, yeah dumb and unfortunate.

I also have a log file of my current OBS standard setting.
For Local Recording of course.

So any good advise what is a Software that has no Problems with those files before I drop a bunch of Money xD?

Because re-encoding via Handbrake is not really an option anymore, because it visbly worsen the quality once the Video hits YouTube.

Remuxing after recording is the best way to do things if you can't find an editor that supports flv. I actually use the ffmpeg method for it. https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-convert-flvs-to-mp4-fast-without-re-encoding.78/

Openshot (Linux only, has a live dvd/usb version) is capable of opening the files, but the output quality selections appear to be quite limited.

And if you're losing quality by running your files through handbrake, you're not using quality-based bitrate selection with a quality rate factor of 15-18 (lower is better). I use CRF 15, fast preset as my last step before uploading.

I remux using AviDemux and then re-sync (if necessary) and add other effects (like text, fades, volume mixing) in the very affordable Sony Movie Studio (75$ for the little brother of Sony Vegas).

I could get Premiere Elements + Photoshop 13 + Grafiktablet for 82€ thats why I am asking. But yeah could be that I use the "wrong" settings xD in Handbrake didn't thought about that :P the problem is just that you can't add quality back again once lost. So I think you overdo the CRF unless you also record the source material with it. I am quite happy with my quality balance 10 (CRF 22) strange thing is if I set a lower CRF the quality get's worse on youtube in my opinion at least after trying around. Oh well what am I even trying to do? xD
