Question / Help Video capture device screen region

Hello just curious if there is something I missed or a plugin that will allow me to capture or crop a specific region/sub region of a video capture device?

At present I have a 2 PC setup. I am running my game software on one rig and OBS on the other. I am trying to simplify how I capture two separate regions of the same video capture device for re positioning and scaling in a final layout. Ie. a 3DS upper and lower screen being displayed on the game rig and captured with an avermedia card on the streaming rig.

At present I am having to use 2 instances of the video capture device and scale the entire image and overlap one on the other with a final overlay that blocks the rest of the mess.

I would like to be able to use the video capture device but crop to the specific region/sub region of the device to have a source for that specific region that I can then scale and re position..Is this possible and how can I achieve this?

So a bit more digging out in the web and I found it nested in with the filters options.. Next would be to hope there will be better features for cropping, ie drag box selection with edge drag for finer tuning whilst retaining the numerical input for ultra precise tuning of the crop. Ty and keep up the great work guys! :)

Hold Alt to crop, like you are resizing the box.

Did they finally add preview-drag cropping to OBS MP? If he has Filter options, he isn't using Classic, and just posted to the wrong subforum.
